Pax, the protagonist of our project, is a young individual diagnosed with depressive schizoaffective disorder, which causes him to experience vivid hallucinations. Following a critical episode, his parents decide to admit him to a psychiatric facility where he must overcome various challenges to retrieve his cherished teddy bear.

Due to his condition, Pax gains the ability to project and control his shadow at will. Additionally, he can merge with his shadow to enhance his physical and cognitive abilities, turning his disorder into a unique gameplay mechanic.

Inner Shadow is a collaborative project developed as a final project by the union of two higher education degrees: Cross-Platform Application Development and 2D/3D Animation and Environtment. I contributed as part of the programming team, utilizing Unity as the primary development platform. I've worked on the entire game, including main mechanics, visuals implementation and narrative.
